As the RegTech Convention is one of the largest conferences on financial regulation, we expect more than 700 delegates representing banks, insurance companies and regulators from across the globe. At this year’s RegTech Convention, we are looking forward to two exciting days of lively dialogue with distinguished keynote speakers and interesting panel discussions addressing today's most pressing challenges in financial regulation and technology. This year’s motto is “Transformation & Agility”.
As in previous years, experienced experts from the financial industry will speak this year - including representatives from banks, insurance companies, supervisory authorities and central banks such as the Deutsche Bundesbank, the EBA and the ECB.
PhDr. Tomáš Sedláček, Ph.D., author of the bestselling book “Economics of Good and Evil” and philosopher of economics will open the event with a keynote. In the panel discussion that follows, we will take a closer look at the transformation of the financial services industry through economic and technological trends with representatives of supervisory authorities and banks.
The Banking Conference will focus on regulatory and technological topics, such as the European implementation of the Basel Reform / Basel IV, data integration, outsourcing, industrialization, current developments in risk management and much more.
Further specialist conferences will be held concurrent to the Banking Conference: the Transactions Conference on transaction-based reporting, the Regulators Conference for central banks and supervisory authorities, the Insurance Conference for insurers, the Risk Conference and the Tax Conference with current topics from tax reporting.
Topics such as AnaCredit, BIRD and BCBS 239 will be discussed in the parallel focus sessions in the afternoon.
The second day of the conference will focus on our RegTech solutions. We will inform you of the most important developments in our product and service portfolio and give an outlook on the planning for the coming year. The afternoon sessions will cover more detailed and specific regulatory and technological topics around our RegTech and RiskTech solutions.
