The European Banking Authority (EBA) published its annual work programme for 2021, designed around six strategic areas:
(i) implementation of the banking package and resolution tools;
(ii) improvement of the EU-wide EBA stress testing framework;
(iii) establishment of an integrated EU data hub capable of flexible and comprehensive analyses;
(iv) financial innovation and operational resilience in the financial sector;
(v) anti-money laundering/combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) supervision; and
(vi) environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks.
